Although I wouldn't dare write LOTR. Some things I just can't do. I can read it, though.

Oh...and I've written LOTS of Harry/Draco. That's not slash, it's canon, baby!! JKR says so, book six. Harry wonders why he's so obsessed over Malfoy. Just catering to the ladies wishes and explaining WHY. *eg*

I know what you mean. I think it's because I read elf slash way back when, and the thought of all that hair wrapped around them just kinda did it for me.

Now...that's not to say that I don't want them for myself. Trust me, if I woke up to a 6 ft plus Marchwarden from Lothlorien standing at the foot of my bed, I sure as hell don't want Legolas with him!!! Unless they're both there to ravish me, then yeah, that's cool. lol
